| Federal Reserve Bank of NY & AIG INROADS, honors Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with INROADS Alumni reception |
| To commemorate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and celebrate INROADS Alumni, The Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the American International Group AIG and INROADS co-hosted a reception “Honoring Heritage & Inspiring Change” at the august offices of The Federal Reserve Bank of New York, on January 18, 2007.
A commemorative $100 Savings Bond imprinted with Dr. King’s image was also created for the occasion. |

| Speakers included Carl Turnipseed, EVP, Financial Services Group, Federal Reserve Bank of New York & INROADS Board member, Keith Duckett, VP-Administration, American International Group,
and Charles Cornelius, President & CEO, INROADS, Inc.
Each speaker remarked on the role INROADS continues to play in helping to fulfill Dr. King’s dream. Carl Turnipseed mentioned his personal admiration of INROADS
which began when his daughter was an INROADS Intern and reaffirmed his commitment to the INROADS mission. Keith Duckett recalled that as a founding
partner of INROADS New York, AIG was influenced to create a position called Chief Diversity Officer. He reminded the audience of one of Dr. King’s affirmations
regarding community responsibility, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, “What are you doing for others?” |

Charles Cornelius, introduced by NIAA NY/NJ regional vice chair Rashard
Gathers, reminded the audience that INROADS Founder, Frank Carr, inspired by Dr.
King, made significant personal sacrifices to create INROADS which has helped to
achieve “incremental change in the society of which we are both the
beneficiaries and custodians.” |

The evening provided opportunity for INROADS Alumni to network with other business professionals.

Alumni also enjoyed music, hors d’oeurves, wines and viewed works by artists Alonzo Adams (http://theadamsgallery.com/home.html), Kennis Baptiste (http://www.kenisbb.com), and photographer Alissa Jenkins (alissa@brownlillie.com).
Several prizes and gift surprises complemented the festivities.
